In Japan, mobile phones are an integral part of life. Everyone uses them. Now, I have just bought myself a new mobile phone, a Sony Ericsson Z600.
The phone itself is reasonable, there a few things I would like improved. But there are some features that my phone in Japan didn't have. But the phone I had in Japan, is over three years old. And the price differential is really bad
My biggest disappoint was WAP, especically compared to cHTML (compact HyperText Markup Language). It seems so archaic, with using monochrome images. With cHTML - the HTTP user agent will in some case send the screen size and the number of permissable colours.
I'll whinge more about that later.
